Co-Founder & CEO

A serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of Clap. Previously, he co-founded Notehall, which was acquired by Chegg (NYSE: CHGG), and Pillow.com, which was acquired by Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE). He's known for building products around participation, engagement, and help everyday people earn income - with a steady diet of metrics, apples with peanut butter, and an irrational distrust of spiders.

Open Roles

We're building something weird and wonderful.

Our Mission

We believe the internet should reward real people.

Clap exists to bring trust back to the internet. We're building a world where authenticity is valued, creativity is rewarded, and every person has the opportunity to win by being themselves.

Authenticity over algorithms

Real people creating real moments. No bots, no fakes, no inflated metrics. Just humans being themselves.

Participation over perfection

We don't reward polish. We reward showing up, taking a shot, and putting yourself out there.

Trust is earned

Every interaction on Clap is verified, real, and meaningful. We're bringing trust back to the internet.

Our Story

Same mission. Bigger playground.

Humanity was the spark. Everything since has been turning that into something real.

Where we started

Clap Kindness.

Rewarding everyday good — holding doors, picking up trash, helping strangers. No clickbait. Just reinforcing what makes communities better.

Weirdness is a feature.
Every voice deserves a stage.

We retired the kindness feed and found a bigger way to channel what it taught us: people come alive when they're seen for being real.

Where we're going

The future feels more human.

As AI transforms work, Clap creates space for what makes us human and feel alive: play, creativity, and meaningful connection.

Reward the people.
AI amplifies. Humans shine.

The Bigger Picture

We are growing accustomed to letting LLMs auto-correct our weirdness to form-fit with the mean average of human thought…

The invitation

It's time to reclaim the playground.

It's time to remember that the most powerful force for human connection is play; unfiltered, spontaneous, and real.

It's time to stop scrolling, and start improvising.

It's time to challenge, remix, respond, and be heard.

The world has thrown a lot at us.

It's time to Clap back.
